Remembering George H.W. Bush
Our 41st President of the United States (January 20, 1989 – January 20, 1993) and former Director of Central Intelligence (January 30, 1976 – January 20, 1977).
Namesake of the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN77).
He was a naval aviator during World War II. He received his Naval Aviator wings and naval commission when he was only 18. He flew a torpedo bomber, the Grumman TBF-1C Avengers.
