Fatherly Advice About What's Important

I have some of my photos in Flickr, and someone marked one of my photos as their favorite.

Actually it was one of my cartoons and not a photo, but still this person obviously has good taste. So I went to see what else this person likes.

He only had three favorites. One was mine, one was a confusing technical chart and one was the above image with the following quote:

Remember then that there is only one important time, and that time is now. The most important one is always the one you are with. And the most important thing is to do good for the one who is standing at your side. For these, my dear boy, are the answers to what is most important in this world.

I don't know who actually gave this fatherly advice, but it sounds very good to me - good enough to remember.
