The world population living in extreme poverty has greatly decreased. Somewhat buried in this infographic, it's something for which we should be grateful...and proud...as we enter 2017.

Debt to GDP Ratio of Selected Countries

On the above Treemap, quickly see that Italy's External Debt to GDP ratio (bright orange) increases 55% between July 2010 and July 2011.  China (bright blue) decreased 33%.
