U.S. President's Oath of Office and Sharia Law in the U.S.
(10 hours of crickets chirping)
President Obama took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and Islam's Sharia Law is not compatible with the U.S. Constitution.

Understanding the Paradox of Tolerance
| English: Karl Popper in 1990. (Photo credit: Wikipedia) |
Philosopher Karl Popper defined the paradox in 1945 in The Open Society and Its Enemies: "Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance. If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant, if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant, then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them."
2014 may be remembered as the year of intolerant liberalism, also dubbed the new intolerance, dogmatic liberalism and illiberal liberalism.
Back in 2014, The Christian Post explained it best in "33 Examples of Intolerant Liberalism."
We must never tolerate intolerance.

Percentage of Muslims in U.S. Population by State
There are 3.3 million Muslims in the U.S. and over 2,500 mosques. One way to see the population ratio is by visualizing it using Tableau Public.
Ilinois has the highest Muslim percentage by state population, and Montana has the lowest.
- # 1 - Illinois (2.80%)
- # 5 - Texas (1.68%)
- # 13 - Georgia (.54%)
- # 31 - Oklahoma (.20%)
- # 51 - Montana (.03%)
The average national percentage is 1%. Data does not include an estimated increase of over 1 million immigrants over the last 5 years.

Mosques and Muslims in U.S.
There are 3.3 million Muslims in the U.S. and over 2,500 mosques. On average, that's 1 mosque for every 1,320 Muslims. I'm not sure how useful this information is, but one way to find out is by visualizing it using Tableau Public.
We can see per state a range of 100 to 3,000 Muslims per mosque.

Why So Many Mosques?
Months ago, I started playing with U.S. population, Mosque and Muslim data. How many Muslims in each U.S. state? What's the monthly increase? How many Mosques in each state? How many Muslims per Mosque in each state?
It’s not a great surprise that the numbers of Muslims and mosques in the U.S. have been increasing steadily over the last 10 years and radically so over the last 20 years.
I do get surprised, however, when I look at the ratio of Mosques by state population. Why are the most mosques by population in states surrounding our nation's capital? Why is D.C. the highest by far? Just wondering. The hex tile map below highlights D.C. and the top six states.
