On August 8th, I celebrated my 5 Year Anniversary on Twitter.

Twitter was created  by Jack Dorsey and launched in July of 2006.

YouTube.com is having an impressive increase in unique visitors, especially towards the end of a 12-month period.

Twitter increased hugely in the first few months of 2009, contributing to a 294% annual increase in unique visitors.

Using Compete.com, I looked at Twitter's analytics, and I have to note its stagnant growth over the last 6 months.

Twitter is a Rare Bird

I like Twitter, and I've been using it to develop a network of data visualization contacts.

Now, however, I have to figure out how to correct a problem. Through some unknown automated function, my Twitter updates each have "grjenkin just twittered:" repeated over and over (like a bird).

It's almost laughable.

One of the 12 ways to be more interactive is with Twitter.

Using Compete.com, I looked at Twitter's analytics. They have a 42% increase over last month and over 1,000% increase for the year. That's pretty significant.
